The globe for this lamp rests atop the back of a resting dragon, evoking images of wyrms blanketing themselves in their treasure hordes as they sleep. The dragon’s pose is relaxed, its head resting gently on its folded arms. Its wings are high and unfurled, creating an attractive lampshade to help shield the glow. Again, the light shows off the detail of the carving. The folds of the wings make them appear to be leather or fabric, but those are the same sturdy black resin as the rest of the statue and the majority of our pieces.
