Many folk might say that a demon’s traditional drink would be fresh blood, preferably from a bowl on a sacrificial alter, but who’s to say they don’t enjoy a glass of wine now and again? The demonic hand in this wall carving might support such a theory, clasped as it is around a decorative glass with a sphere-like bottom. Oh, sure, the glass could hold blood just as easily as wine, but it actually happens to be a candleholder, so perhaps we’ll just agree to disagree. |
