The second of ten collectable gemstone globes, these ornate pieces rest in gleaming metal stands, this one forged of golden brass. Each stand has four knobby legs ending in smooth spheres, an “X”-like fixture extending from each, resting below the globe. A solid support ring sits atop the four legs, connected to an internal ring that holds up the globe with a metallic axis. This attractive design allows the globe to spin both vertically and horizontally, as desired. Each globe uses a specific gemstone for its oceans. This piece utilizes mother of pearl to give it an amber hue that nicely complements the golden brass stand.
