Definitely among the more elaborate pieces we have, this clock is rich in artistic displays. The most immediately eye-catching are, of course, the three dragons around the clock itself. Two larger dragons support the clock, mouths open wide as if giving celebratory roars for the smaller, dragon that sits atop the face. They all stand upon a coffin-like base, a gargoyle face on the side, small gargoyles used as supporting legs. Other minor details—such as the vine-like carvings extending around the gargoyle face and the shield that the smaller dragon is holding—abound in this creative piece.
