One imagines that this is the sort of light that mages would hang in their foyers, warded to detect intruders. Most likely, each dragon head would be enchanted to unleash arcane blasts of fire, ice, and lightning (respectively) at any unwanted visitors, quite possibly summoning up a guardian dragon once per day upon command. We can’t promise the arcane defenses, but the idols staring down over the room, faces cast in the shadow of the light globe, makes an eye-catching piece anyway.
