An imaginative scene from top to bottom. This snow globe begins with a mountainous base, jagged carves of rock-like texture setting the scene. Among the mountain is a castle stronghold, its brick towers and narrow stairs built right into the rock, improving the keep’s defensibility. At the top of the mountain, a mighty dragon sits with the tops of the highest tower. The legendary beast is larger than the castle itself, and holds a mighty sword in one claw, a giant’s skull in the other. The dragon and top tower is encapsulated in the transparent glass of the globe, dominating the image.
