The question, of course, is: how do they manage to carve something like this? The resin sphere is elaborately designed like strands of rope, intertwined in a Celtic mesh to form a holding globe. At rest on a pedestal, itself emblazoned with a Celtic knot motif and supported by curving legs, the orb can hold a candle inside, creating an intriguing pattern of light as it spills through the openings in the ornate ball.
